Historic Walking Tour: Moving Forward to Preserve the Past: Mississauga’s Newest Designated Sites

The Port Credit BIA historic walking tours have returned for the 2024 season.

Join Historian Richard Collins for "Moving Forward to Preserve the Past: Mississauga’s Newest Designated Sites" on July 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

Motivated by changes to provincial heritage policy, the City of Mississauga has taken a fast track to protect history before they’re lost. Three sites one this tour have been designated recently, and more are on the way.

Meet at the Port Credit Farmers Market at the Port Credit Library lot ( 20 Lakeshore Rd E,).

Tour starts at 11:00 a.m. sharp and run for 1.5 hours.
