Port Credit is easy to easy to get to and easy to find. You can arrive by bus, train, car or even boat! We would love to see you soon and we have plenty of parking available throughout the downtown!

It’s easy to get around town on foot. All Port Credit businesses and events are accessible along local sidewalks and walking trails, making it the perfect place to stretch your legs for a leisurely stroll with friends to lunch or a run with your workout buddy.

bike

Cyclists are welcome in Port Credit. Bike along the Waterfront Trail for a beautiful view during your ride, use residential roads for a quieter spin or take Lakeshore Road to access our beautiful parks and vibrant downtown. 

 

train

An easy way to get to Port Credit is by train. The Port Credit GO Station is a stop along the GO Transit Lakeshore West Line, located only three blocks from the waterfront. Trains stop at Port Credit GO from the east and west frequently, making accessing Port Credit by train fast and easy. Plan your train trip 

drive

Driving in from out of town? No problem! Downtown Port Credit is easily accessible from the Queen Elizabeth Way by taking the off-ramp at Mississauga Rd., Hurontario St., or Cawthra Rd. Get driving directions

 

bus

Taking the bus to Port Credit is a great travel option, especially if you are coming from elsewhere in Mississauga. MiWay has bus routes traveling to and through Port Credit. The Port Credit GO Station serves as a major Mississauga bus station for east-west, as well as north-south, bus routes. View MiWay routes and schedules

When parking in Port Credit you have multiple options: public parking lots or street metered parking. It’s easy to find parking lots close to the events and businesses you’re going to in Port Credit. Use the City of Mississauga’s local parking map to find parking near by. You can find paid on-street parking around town in addition to our many parking lots. 

When parking your vehicle in on-street parking you need to pay for parking from:

  • Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. 
  • Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Outside of listed hours parking is free.

How much does on-street parking cost?

  • One hour = $1.50
  • Two hours = $3.00
  • Three hours = $5.00

On street parking allows you to park for a maximum of three hours. You can pay using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or cash (quarters, loonies and toonies only). Incremental payment is available.
