Treasurer

Brenda McGarrell

I have served on the Port Credit Board of Directors for 2 terms. My first term was 2014-2018 and I am 2 years into my second term. I had been known for volunteering at festivals and events, and I was tapped on the shoulder in 2006 and nominated to join. My current roles include the job of Treasurer and Director for Policy and Procedures.

This includes preparing monthly reports, liaising with our accountant, maintaining current policies and establishing new policies as required. I am part of the Executive Committee and the Policy & Procedures Committee. I am a Founder of the Farmer’s Market, established in 2008 and I continue to volunteer annually at festivals such as Canada Day and Southside Shuffle. I am also a strong supporter of a few Community Charity Events & Fundraisers.
