There’s no place like Port Credit to get into the holiday spirit. Don’t let the winter blues get you down. We invite our Port Credit residents & neighboring communities to visit the Port and enjoy all our Winter festivities. We are happy to announce that our WinterIN The Port festivities are running from December 4th, 2021, to January 29th, 2022.

Main Street Winter Décor 

Winter lighting and décor throughout Port Credit's Main Street: including fairy lights wrapped around grapevines in our potted planters, and beautifully lit snowmen and reindeer in raised planters. 

  • Installation begins Mid-November 2021  
  • Location: Along Lakeshore Rd. between Maple Ave. & Beechwood Ave. 

Light up Main Street Trees Reinstallation of warm white lighting in silhouette fashion wrapped around the truck of the trees into branches.

Free Main Street Parking  

To support our small businesses, we are offering free parking from November 25th, 2021, to January 14th, 2022, along Lakeshore Rd. between Maple Ave. and Beechwood Ave. Don’t worry about parking meters this Holiday Season while enjoying shopping, dining, and supporting our businesses.

Lighting Of The Iconic Lighthouse 

Join us as we continue to light up Port Credit as we kick off our winter festivities with The Annual Lighting Of The Lighthouse, taking place on December 4th, 2021 from 5PM-7PM. Come down to our iconic Port Credit Lighthouse located at 105 Lakeshore Road W. and enjoy photos with Santa, carolers, hot chocolate and cookies!  

We encourage you to bring gifts to be wrapped upon a minimum donation of $5 dollars per gift by Epilepsy South Central Ontario. We will also have a donation box setup to drop off any nonperishables to donate to the Compass Food Bank, contributing to our Cram the Ram event. 

After the conclusion of the event, drop by Lights & Ice Winter Fest to check out their ice sculptures and more, hosted by Mississauga Waterfront Festival at Port Credit Memorial Park. This installation will be up from December 3rd to 12th. 

Strolling Santa 

Catch jolly Santa Clause strolling down Lakeshore. Don’t be shy, say hi, share your wishes and snap a photo, it’s been a year since you’ve seen him so be sure to catch up! 

  • December 4th from 1PM- 4pm 
  • December 11th from 12PM- 3PM  
  • December 18th from 11AM- 2PM (East Village) 3PM-6PM (West Village)  

Cram The Ram 

In partnership with Peel Chrysler and all nonperishable donations collected will be given to the Compass Food bank. We invite the community to donate food, toiletries, gifts and more to those in need this Holiday Season.

  • Time: 11am-2pm  
  • Location: Port St. Market 

Frosty Finale - POSTPONED

It’s time to break the ice and have some outdoor fun! Strolling ice characters, wood carving demos, outdoor cocktail bar, ice painting, live music, kids' games & activities - And to help keep you toasty; warming stations complete with fire bowls, comfy chairs & a hot beverage station on the street to tie in the overall event!

Street Animation  

Uniquely decorated sites, sure to be a destination for family photos and Instagram moments during The Holidays. 

  • Rowboat Installation at the Port Credit Marina – A wooden rowboat set to be Santa’s alternative plan for this holiday season.  
  • A Jeep Installation at Port St. Market – A Red Jeep with Holiday decor on top and around it, all decked out for a Family Holiday in the mountains.  
  • White Winter Wonderland at Queen Beas Lookout - A beautiful scenic all white winter wonderland with pine trees, snowflakes, and more!
